|I know some of you may have paypal accounts whether to buy things online, sell things, or accept commissions through paypal. I just wanted to warn you about fake e-mails that usually get sent to junk mail folder anyway pretending to be from Paypal. The title will probably say "Your account has been temporarily frozen". Below is a sample of the e-mail message. What they try to do is trick you into clicking the link and submitting your login and password information so they can gain access to your account. Many of you probably know better than to click on it as Paypal will never e-mail you in this type of manner asking you to go to some link. Another clue is to look at the "From" e-mail address and it will usually be some odd e-mail address. If you ever want to doublecheck that your Paypal is ok, always go to the official paypal.com website and log in from there. |
Below is the e-mail message that will be from the phishing paypal e-mail.
