It's been a long time since I last wrote a journal. So much has changed in the last couple years. Some ups and some downs but I am optimistic with the future. I have also gotten motivated to draw more
again and open up commissions if anyone is interested. I am open to drawing a variety of anime fan art, comic book fan art, portrait drawings, etc. Prices would range depending on whether it's one character
or more, color or black and white, and complexity of background. Feel free to message me if you're interested. I would try to make it reasonably priced and affordable, but still have to price in a range that I feel my artwork is worth. I do also have prints already made of certain of my fan art that can be mailed out. 

I don't have time however to take requests as I'm limited to doing commissions. Thanks. Jade-Arts

I was thinking of giving some DA friends core memberships for birthdays but when I went to the core membership, I was shocked at how much the price went up, especially with the one year membership. Here's the prices.
$5.00/400 points for 1 month
$15/1200 points for 3 months
$50/4000 points for 12 months
This price change must have happened when DA changed it's membership name from Premium to Core. I understand that with cost of hosting the site, employees, maintenance, etc., they have to increase the price
but it shouldn't be to this extent. This isn't going to get more people to sign up when the price goes up so drastically. This also causes me not to be able to give as many core membership gifts for DA friends.
1 month used to cost 3.95, 3 months $7.95, and 12 months $29.95. I have way too much core membership than I need and if I could give some of it away I would but then, DA wouldn't be making any money
if they allowed me to do that. Oh well. 

Hello watchers and visitors. I've finally created my own superhero character that I'm pretty sure doesn't exist already but will not reveal it until I've done the proper copyright and trademark filing with the copyright office in U.S. I've got the character pretty much completed but have to draw views of my character from the side and the back and details of my character's weapons. I have the origin and powers in my head right now but have to think more about the details. I already got the logo made. It might take several months for me to show everyone the character though because it can take several months for the copyright office to approve of the character and name, logo, etc. I know many artists on DA make OC characters without having to apply for copyright, which is still fine. If you create your own character and idea, you own the copyright, but I just wanted to make it even more official just to be safe. Stay tuned. In the meantime, I'll still do the fan art that's on my to do list.

BTW, the character at the top is not my character. She's from Witcher 3 and this was a cool journal skin that I found here. 

It's been a long time since my last journal. I hope everyone is doing well. Last year was a pretty slow year for me here as far as submitting artwork. Hope I can change that this year. If you haven't seen it already, check out my Wonder Woman drawing.   I plan on going to more anime conventions and possibly having an artist's table in the future even though I'm an unknown artist and still improving my skills with each piece of art. I am planning on getting wall scrolls made of 5 of my fanarts. I'll also be making prints of my best and favorite artwork too. If anyone is interested in my artwork, feel free to send me a note. Here are some characters I have planned on my to do list.

1. Go Go Tomago from Big Hero 6: FINISHED  
2. Rider: Fate Stay Night : She just looks like a cool character.
3. Allen Walker: DGrayman; Because he's awesome!
4. Spider Gwen: I didn't know anything about her until I saw a cosplay of her at an anime convention. Loved the outfit. 
5. Batwoman. I like her outfit so I'll try to draw her this year. 
6. Silk: She's got powers like Spider man :  FINISHED  
 

Let's hope I get these drawings done this year as my artist's block has been lifted I think. lol.

Thanks to all my watchers that have stuck with me and to the new watchers and friends I've gained from DA. Even though DA has seemed to lose some of it's popularity, I find it is a good place to post my art and as close to social media as I will get. I'm not really into Facebook that much so my main posts will be on here. How is it going everyone? It's been a couple months since my last journal. Nothing much going on. Still haven't drawn anything lately. I might do some speed painting fan art just to get something up here. Maybe I'll draw the Flash or one of the X-men. 

Has anyone experienced slow down with Deviantart today? A couple times, DA just wouldn't load and now it's just acting slower than usual. I know it's not my internet connection since other sites work normal. I guess DA does this once a month it seems. 

Anyone seen Amazing Spiderman 2 yet if you're in Europe? I'll see it on Sat. with a friend but not too thrilled about it. This Spider-man just seems too goofy but I guess he acts more like the comic book version. I'm looking forward to Transformers Age of Extinction and X-men: Days of Future Past. Maleficent looks pretty good too.
